The Mustang is ready for another makeover and spy photos have already been released(if you haven’t already seen them). We don’t know much about what to expect from the new Mustang besides what we can make out in the picture and what we can guess. We can tell you that it is planned to be released to us early in 2009, which is great because we only have to wait a year and a half for it instead of two.
Spy photographers caught an early Mustang front-end mule with tighter fit-forming camouflage which showed some of the design lines in the fender and bumper. It seems that the vehicle shows a great resemblance to Giuagiaro’s Mustang Concept which debuted at LA in 2006.
Ford is working on a new family of large displacement V8 engines that will enable more power and torque in naturally aspirated trim than the current 4.6 liter engines. The new BOSS V8 is believed to be a larger version of the overhead cam modular engine family and will come in two sizes which are reported to be 5.8 and 6.2 liters. Those sizes are subject to change.
