The 2008 Mustang Bullitt has arrived and we are all eager to check out the new design and power of the vehicle. Unfortunately it isn’t ready for consumers to buy – which means that any details we were able to scrounge up are minimal.
We do know that Ford is expected to build about 7,000 units of the Bullitt Mustang. It likely will be available only in Highland Green or black with an improved suspension, red brake calipers, upgraded audio system and sport seating.
Rumors are spreading that the new Mustang will be featuring an FR Power Pack with an output of almost 312 horsepower. Whether that is true or not is yet to be confirmed so don’t be too dissapointed if you find the vehicle without it.
“Blending the best Mustang ever with the latest Ford Racing technology, this modern classic lives up to the magic of the movie Bullitt by delivering a new-generation Mustang Bullitt with the perfect balance of power, performance and a look of quiet intensity,” the company said in a statement. “Bullitt screams into dealerships early next year.
Even though Ford wouldn’t release too many details they were able to give us a video of the mighty Bullitt on the streets and in action.
