Last night before the LA Auto Show began Ford had rented out a large hangar at the Santa Montica airport and invited dozens of Mustang club members in order to give them the first peek at the 2010 Mustang. For many people it was their first look at the car.
The event began with a brilliant car show that displayed the 45 years of the Mustang. Ford had even brought in a Mustang from every year since 1964. They began with the 1964 ½ red convertible and finished with the 2009 Mustang GT. The owners also brought out their personal Mustang featuring many of the different brands that included Roush, Saleen, and Shelby.
Ford also put a few of their historical Mustang racecars. A few of them included the Parenlli Jones 1970 Trans-Am and the John Force’s Mustang. Once the car show was completed the people went inside to watch the official reveal of the new Mustang. Sure we have already seen many pictures of the finished picture - but having the chance to see it in person in all its splendor is still exciting.
