Kenny Brown CSR-69 Ford MustangKenny Brown announces the introduction of his Mustang Club Sport Racer (CSR)-69 Concept. The Kenny Brown CSR-69 Concept was unveiled at the 2005 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada November 1st through the 4th in the Unique Performance Display.

In his ultimate tribute to Mustang heritage the Kenny Brown CSR-69 Concept is designed to replicate the look of the Golden Age of Trans-Am Racing in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Underneath the retro-look, lays the foundation of what sets Kenny Brown Mustangs apart from the rest of the aftermarket herd, Upgraded Chassis and Suspension Components. As a showcase of enhancements Brown has engineered and developed for the ‘05 and up Mustangs, the CSR-69’s chassis improvements feature his KB Strut Tower Brace, KB Lower Chassis Brace, exclusive KB Jacking Rails and topped off with the KB 6-Point Super Street Cage. Suspension enhancements include the KB Panhard Bar, KB Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms, KB Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Module and exclusive KB Rear Coil-Over Shocks.

With the chassis and suspension now set to handle additional power, Ford Racing Performance Parts contributed Headers, a High Flow X-Pipe, High Flow Mufflers, larger capacity Aluminum Radiator and an A/C Eliminator Kit. Putting the power to the pavement are a set of Forgeline ZX3R 3-Piece Racing Wheels mounted on Pirelli P-Zero Corsa Tires and a set of Koni Double Adjustable Struts. Stopping the CSR-69 Concept is a Ford Racing/Brembo 14″ Front Brake Package cooled by exclusive KB Front Brake Ducts.

The interior of the CSR-69 is all about driver control. OMP provided a pair of their Comfort Lusso Seats and Harness Belts, while a Ford Racing/Hurst Shifter enables toggle like shifting of the gears. An exclusive KB Dead Pedal gives the drivers left foot proper support for quick use of the clutch.

Topping off the classic Trans-Am Racecar look is a Mustang 69 Styling Package that includes raised rear quarter panels with integrated spoiler, deletion of the quarter window, front fender air extractors and a chin splitter. The paint for the CSR-69 Concept is an exclusive color called “Red Hot Red” that was created and expertly applied by the crew at Matrix Automotive Finishes in Detroit, Michigan.
