Roush and Saleen make complete, re-engineered vehicles from the Mustang platform, but there are many lines of less well-known companies that specialize in aftermarket support for Mustang fanatics. One of these companies is Mustang Racing Technologies from Michigan.
The “Cherry 6T6″ is the latest in MRT’s line of Mustang show cars for SEMA. This year’s car is a nicely tricked out convertible, featuring a full-spectrum of off-the-shelf parts and accessories for the new-generation Mustang.
The car is powered by a twin-turbo version of the 4-liter V6, delivering 300 hp at the rear wheels. The interior includes stock seats reskinned with a Sparco leather kit, and a 6 inch monitor audio/video system. Chassis mods include an adjustable H&R coilover kit, new brakes, and 20-inch Foose wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero rim protectors.
