Ford Mustang 'News'

As far as American cars go, not many surpass the legacy and beauty of the Ford Mustang – whatever generation of the car you decide to buy. During the debut for the 2010 Ford Mustang in Santa Monica – Mark Fields – stated that Ford would soon be showing us “another chapter in the Mustang story”. Naturally this surprise will reveal itself to us during the Detroit Auto Show next month.

We are all fervently hoping that this new ‘chapter’ will be in the form of a brand new GT500. Ford has not officially announced the car or when it will make its debut or it’s gas mileage rating- but rumors spreading on the Internet did confirm that it will be a 2010 model.

It seems that spies don’t have to work hard and sneak around to catch glimpses of the 2010 Ford Mustang. Ford has been teasing us by driving it around in the broad daylight all around Detroit, Michigan. Albeit is covered in camouflage – but it is there none the less.

Ford has created factory-built racers that were based on their production cars for many years. Many of those racers have originated as Mustangs and several of those have included Cobra R models. During the summer Ford brought back another variant of the Mustang.
