2009 Ford Mustang ConceptThe new Mustang will not be completely redesigned from the ground up but, will be based on the current S197 platform.Completely redesigning could prove too costly, so Ford intends to make any necessary improvements with the current platform to compete with the Camaro and Challenger.

While, the wheelbase and overall dimensions of the car probably won’t change much, the 2009 Mustang will be more aggressive and audacious in its styling. With modern body lines, more pronounced front and rear flanks and a proportionally smaller glass area, the 2009 Mustang will have a sleek, yet aggressive appearance.

Obsidian Coupe R Ford MustangAt the SEMA show an outstanding car the Obsidian Coupe R Ford Mustang stands alone outside. This car didn’t make it into the show, but that didn’t matter it still recieved plenty of attention. This black-gold colored Obsidian Coupe R came with 900hp, twin-supercharged engine and extremely aggressive custom appliqué. This 1967 Ford Mustang drew in the crowd by emitting notable style and function.
